With the adoption of our new Area Plan comes some minor changes to our project focus. While we continue to emphasis agriculture development in the region, we will expand our focus to also include forestry and water resource issues. The River Valley Agriculture Commission is now implementing its recently completed economic development plan for agriculture in the region. Other communities are becoming interested in the value of agriculture commissions to help focus efforts on agriculture development. If you are interested in learning more about agriculture commissions please see these two documents, Agriculture Commission Guidelines and Agriculture Commission Talking Points or call/email the office.
